Preserving the memory of the Holocaust and raising awareness of global antisemitism.
Six Million Steps is a unique international effort led by the Israeli-American Council and our community partners, preserving the memory of the lives lost during the Holocaust and bringing attention to the alarming resurgence of antisemitism in the US and around the world.
This year we dedicate the campaign to the memory of the brave men and women who led the Warsaw ghetto uprising 80 years ago. This uprising was the first popular revolt in a ghetto in Nazi-occupied Europe. To this day, it symbolizes the bravery and valor of these Jewish men and women during unimaginable circumstances.
During the month of April, leading up to Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), we call on you to gather your community and walk in solidarity. By collectively tracking our footsteps, we honor their courage, bravery, strength, and hope.
